We stayed at Fjordhotell in mid September and it was virtually deserted but we were made to feel welcome. Our room had big windows and a balcony, offering breathtaking views of the fjords. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and its location on the edge of the Fjord was beautiful. The dinner provided was simple, hearty home style food, and the breakfast buffet was impressive with a delicious range of Norwegian delicacies. They also catered very well for our dietary requirements, providing gluten-free bread, decaf coffee, and lactose-free milk on request.

During our Xmas stay at this hotel, we were impressed by the friendly staff and their warm welcome. The location, with its stunning views of the fjord, was breathtaking. the availability of gluten-free options on the breakfast buffet and the cozy decor of the rooms made for a pleasant experience.

We were disappointed to find that there was no bar or alcohol served on the premises. there were no recreational activities available due to the low occupancy during our stay.
